Studying abroad was one of the defining moments of my life. A time when I not only saw so much of the world but also found myself looking inward as I grew as a person. I connected with The Abroad Guide through a simple Tweet during my semester abroad in Madrid and the rest is history. My photo was used for their Fall 2013 promotional material, my blog was featured as their first entry in the “Awesome Study Abroad Blogs” series, and I served as a contributing writer until September 2014. Sharing advice and stories about my abroad experience helped keep the memories alive, and I couldn’t be happier to give back to the website that helped me prepare for my own adventures several months beforehand.
